As the new Head of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Strategy my goal is to help FLYR keep the competitive edge it currently has through research and continuous improvement.
I have been in the travel industry for more than 17 years, most of this time spent incubating products, technologies, and teams in the airline commercial planning space. That includes pricing, revenue management, network planning, revenue integrity, and more.
After working in a large corporate environment for 13 years, I founded deepair solutions to help travelers, suppliers, and travel agents disrupt typical travel business models using the Web3 Technology Stack.
In my career, I’ve learned that there are several key components to a successful product or brand: a clear purpose and audacious goal; trust of all the stakeholders – teammates, customers, and investors; and a team that can execute and build on the trust capital. So my day-to-day work and decision making is focused on growing the trust capital and marching toward the collective goal.
Having spent so much time in the airline industry, I am extremely passionate about bringing meaningful change to the industry. I believe this change must be driven by the latest technologies like deep learning, AR/VR, and Web3. But the airline industry hasn’t seen any real innovation or change in years, thanks to layers of legacy technology that is monetized by a handful of legacy players.
Of all the startups out there, FLYR has the required capital, team, and traction to challenge those incumbents and meaningfully disrupt the industry.

My first few months at FLYR have just been about learning the company’s approach, technology, and product philosophy. FLYR has taken a very radical approach to a problem that was already considered “solved” by most of the airline industry. They have proven that using deep learning allows airlines to not only improve their current revenue performance, but also to set up a framework for all future innovation in air travel and the broader travel industry.
The most important elements to growing my team and reaching our ambitious goals at FLYR will be to take a “framework approach.” The plan is to replicate what FLYR did with deep learning in flight pricing, which is just one decision that an airline makes, to the dozens of other decisions they make at every customer touch point.
Once that is determined, we’ll see how that same framework can be extended beyond airlines to other parts of the customer journey, like ground transportation, airports, hotels, and more.

When I’m not working, I am either playing with my kids, working out, or reading. Currently, The Age of Surveillance Capitalism by Shoshana Zuboff has held my attention.
As passionate as I am about the travel industry, I also enjoy being a travel consumer. I have loved exploring the Scandinavian countries with my family, and would love to visit there again soon. But by far my favorite travel destination is India.
